Melissa Authement, MA, LBA, BCBA

Melissa earned her Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from McNeese State University in 1999. She became a Special Education Teacher in Texas in 2001. She later returned to McNeese State University and earned her Master of Arts degree in Psychology with a concentration in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). Melissa has 18 years of experience teaching and assessing children, adolescents, and adults with a variety of cognitive and developmental delays, autism, ADHD, and other behavioral health concerns. Her expertise includes working closely and collaboratively with family, teachers, school administration, and other treating professionals. As a Licensed Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), Melissa passionately continues to provide her expertise and services to individuals with different abilities through evidence-based ABA principles.
Millie LaFargue, RBT
Millie is a technician with experience in Applied Behavior Analysis, providing one-one-one therapy to individuals with social, behavioral, and academic deficits. Millie obtained her RBT certification in 2018. She currently attends McNeese State University where she is a senior pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology. After graduation, she plans to continue her studies and earn her Master of Arts in Psychology with a concentration in Applied Behavior Analysis in order to fulfill her goal of becoming a Board Certified Behavior (BCBA). She is driven everyday by watching her kiddos reach even the smallest of goals and milestones, and she is dedicated to providing the best possible services to every child and family.
Mandy Farque, RBT
Mandy has five years of experience with children with disabilities. Some of those disabilities include autism, down syndrome, and developmentally delayed. Most of those years of experience were spent working in the school system in self-contained and mainstreamed classes. Mandy started as a line technician in June of 2018 in one-on-one and group therapy sessions. She is now certified as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT). Nothing prides Mandy more than being a part of helping children accomplish small and big milestones in their lives.
Dana Abbott, RBT
Dana is a line technician who, for the last year now, works with children on the autism spectrum. She graduated in 2017 from Duluth Business University in Minnesota with an Associate's Degree in Applied Science with a focus of Human Services. She plans on continuing her education to receive a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology, and she recently received her RBT certification!
Elyssa Goins-Pino, Behavior Technician
Elyssa Goins-Pino is currently studying Psychology at McNeese State University. She started working with children with autism as a line technician in September 2018 and she is very passionate about making a difference in the quality of the children's lives. Her experience includes working with children with different types of deficits in a one-on-one setting. Watching the children's progress brings her so much joy. Elyssa will continue to expand her knowledge by obtaining her Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification.

Brooke Bohannon, Behavior Technician
Brooke Bohannon is a student at McNeese State University in her senior year. Her major field of study is Psychology with a minor in Business Management. Brooke has four years of experience as a behavior technician in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), with almost two years being with LINKS. Her experience includes multiple settings with individuals of various ages and needs.
Brianna Jaramillo, Behavior Technician
Brianna Jaramillo has more that three years of experience as a line technician. Her experience of working with children who have a range of needs and ages started in November 2015. It is her passion for the development and care of children that motivates her to succeed in this field. Brianna is committed to furthering her knowledge and becoming a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT). As a parent and a mentor, she is inspired by the opportunity to help others overcome obstacles and reach for success.
