Meet Our
Melissa Authement, MA, LBA, BCBA
Owner / Director
Melissa earned her Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from McNeese State University in 1999. She became a Special Education Teacher in 2001; teaching in Texas and then Louisiana. She later returned to McNeese State University and earned her Master of Arts degree in Psychology with a concentration in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). Melissa has 22 years of experience teaching and assessing children, adolescents, and adults with a variety of cognitive and developmental delays, autism, ADHD, and other behavioral health concerns. Her expertise includes working closely and collaboratively with family, teachers, school administration, and other treating professionals. As a Licensed Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), Melissa passionately continues to provide her expertise and services to individuals with different abilities through evidence-based ABA principles.

Behavior Technicians Wanted!
Behavior technicians work one-on-one with individuals teaching new skills such as early language skills, attending skills, daily living skills, and social skills. Applicants must be fun, energetic, and eager to learn!
